Christian Education

At Christian Alliance P.C. Lau Memorial International School (CAPCL), we believe that every learner is special, unique and valuable. God has a plan and purpose for everyone, and everybody needs God. Therefore, we encourage each learner to develop his/her relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. The gospel is life-transforming and prepares learners for a purposeful and fulfilling life.

To support our students’ growth, CAPCL embraces Dr. Martin Seligman’s PERMA model, a comprehensive framework designed to cultivate well-being and help students thrive both academically and personally:

  • Positive Emotion: Prioritizing the experience of joy, gratitude, and daily satisfaction.
  • Engagement: Encouraging deep immersion in activities that challenge, inspire, and fulfill.
  • Relationships: Cultivating meaningful social connections and a strong support network.
  • Meaning: Fostering a profound sense of purpose and belonging within a larger community.
  • Accomplishment: Supporting the intentional pursuit of personal goals and milestones.

Characterized by love modelled by Christ, CAPCL is a caring, safe, respectful and welcoming community where members appreciate differences, celebrate diversity and use their gifts to serve one another. We look forward to partnering with you on this journey.

Our monthly chapel service consists of children leading in worship singing and scripture reading, followed by a short Bible message. Parents are welcome to join our monthly worship gathering. We encourage children to memorize Bible verses and develop Godly wisdom.

At Christian Alliance P.C. Lau Memorial International School (CAPCL), leadership is cultivated through meaningful service and authentic responsibility. Our Leadership Program provides students with opportunities to grow as servant leaders and Christ Ambassadors within the school community.

Christ Ambassadors
Christ Ambassadors represent the heart and values of CAPCL. These student leaders model Christ-like character, integrity, and compassion in daily school life. They:

  • Lead by example in conduct and attitude
  • Support school events and initiatives
  • Welcome and assist new students
  • Serve as positive role models to peers

Study Buddy Mentors
The Study Buddy Mentorship Program fosters academic growth and peer support. Elder or more experienced students guide and encourage peers by:

  • Providing encouragement and academic guidance
  • Helping new students adjust to school routines
  • Promoting a caring and supportive learning environment

Worship Team
The Worship Team leads the school community in praise and spiritual reflection. Students develop their musical and leadership gifts by:

  • Leading worship during chapel and special events
  • Serving faithfully through music and prayer
  • Working collaboratively as a unified team

Children at CAPCL serve each other and reach out to others in our community. They are fond of Community Time when upper primary children work with lower primary children and help them to complete different missions. Students may also volunteer to serve at their Treehouse Library. They are always prepared to share their love with others, such as distributing festive gifts at the elderly center, carolling, beach-cleaning, and more…Our leaders look out for the interests of others above self-interest.

Our annual camp offers Grade 6 students and their teaching team a unique opportunity to step away from the classroom and journey into nature. Over several unforgettable days at an overnight campsite, students will explore the great outdoors, appreciate the beauty of God’s creation, and seek big answers to life’s deepest questions. Designed to support students during their transition from primary to secondary school, this camp experience focuses on building strong teamwork, deepening peer relationships, and creating lasting memories that will anchor them for years to come.
